The Restaurant Amon is furnished in the rustic style of a wine cellar, decorated with original viticulture equipment and decorations from the viticulture heritage, which is very rich around Virštanj. Our desire is to offer our guests a wide range of culinary delights and wine produced by ourselves. Wine tasting is also possible when arranged by a prior agreement. Food prepared in our kitchen is always seasonal. Our dishes are cooked following the old, traditional recipes, especially „kozjanska“ mushroom soup and „prežganka“ which are what we are famous for. Our home made pâtés and „kozjanske“ smoked meat products are really delicious. We make „vinolada“ out of wine and fruits and venison, lamb, duck and chicken are roasted in open fire stoves. You will definitely not find pre-prepared food on our menus. There is also a variety of tasty stews. We have achieved many awards in culinary and catering competitions, among them are the „Touristic carnation“ and Maison de Qualite.
